Closed-Loop Geothermal Cooling System for Data Center

Newest Patent pending

Behind the Meter's Geo System is a closed-loop geothermal cooling platform that eliminates water consumption entirely. The core insight is simple: at depths of 300–500 feet, the earth maintains a constant 50–60°F year-round — a stable, inexhaustible heat sink that asks nothing in return.

We circulate a specialized coolant through sealed high-density polyethylene loops running between the data center and a geothermal bore field underground. Heat flows from servers into the coolant, from the coolant into the earth. Nothing evaporates. Nothing is consumed.

The same principle has powered automotive cooling systems reliably for over a century — we've engineered it for industrial scale.

The Opportunity

The global data center cooling market exceeds $20 billion annually and is projected to double within the decade.

What We're Raising

Behind the Meter is raising $5,000,000 to secure and protect our IP portfolio, execute the first three licensed deployments, and build the sales and technical support infrastructure to scale rapidly.

Our go-to-market model is capital-light by design: data centers license the Geo System technology for $1.5M per facility — they own the installation, we own the IP. With over 8,000 hyperscale and colocation facilities operating globally, and thousands more under development, even modest market penetration represents hundreds of millions in high-margin licensing revenue.

  • Zero-water solutions command a premium
  • Nothing evaporates. Nothing is consumed.
  • Durable, recurring revenue
